Hello, vegans! It’s Christmas, and today I was looking forward to sharing with you this family recipe that I revisited a little bit. It is an orange salad with island flavours. It is a quick to make, light and delicious dessert. It’s more original than a log, and it will surprise your guests. Start by cutting your oranges into 5 mm slices. Set aside the ends that are too small. Squeeze them, as well as three large oranges. Pour the juice over the salad. Add the cinnamon and sugar. Mix the whole thing together. In a small saucepan, pour in the rum and bring to a simmer. Flame it and pour it over the oranges. Attention! This operation is dangerous. Film the salad bowl and keep refrigerated for 24 to 48 hours. Cover your log gutter or rolling pin with baking paper. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. And make your tiles about 6 cm wide. Leave to harden in a cool place. At the last minute, make your nice cream by mixing your bananas with the melted chocolate, and vegetable milk. Add the cocoa, and mix again. To train, dress your oranges, and arrange them in flowers on a plate. Pour a little juice from the marinade, and put a big spoon of nice cream on it.
